All instruments were played and recorded by Sam Callow, except for the Xaphoon on "Cadence", played by Marc Hammond. "Dusty Spring" is based on a piano recording (as source material) of Helen Callow playing "you don't have to say you love me" (D. Springfield), spliced and rearranged digitally. F. Sinatra appears entirely by accident on "Frankensinatra". The lyrics for "Le Sais Moi" come from a translation of a section of Henry Purcell's "The Fairy Queen".
Tracks 2, 9, 11, 12 and 15 were recorded on a 4-track tape machine, the rest were recorded on an 8-track mini-disc machine, with a few final parts added directly to the wave file on computer.
These recordings took place in Reims (tracks 5, 6, 8, 10, 13 and 16) and in London, between April '97 and July 2005.
A handful of tracks appear on 4tRECk CDR albums "No.1", "No.3" and "No.4".

Special thanks to ... Charles, Sophie and Rita for their hospitality, and Marc Hammond for traductions and Xaphoon

This record is dedicated to the last 8 years.
